- Father Mordka (Majer) Sandberg: b. 2 Jun 1885 Kłodawa, son of Eljasz Lejba and Sura Laja Zandberg; a baker, later a labourer. Died in Łódź on 22 Nov 1928, aged 43, still a widower of Blima (deaths 1928 no. 1831, original seen). Jean was about 18
- Mother Marjem Blima née Kerszberg (Kirszberg): b. 13 Sep 1891 Zwoleń (card; her death entry says Kozienice, the county town), daughter of Abram and Rajzla; died in Łódź on 26 Feb 1918, aged 28, about five days after giving birth (deaths 1918 no. 598, original seen). The baby, a girl, died on 4 Mar 1918 (no. 659). The family story says typhus
- Siblings on the c. 1919 card: Estera-Matka (b. 24 Feb 1912), Chawa (b. 16 Jul 1913) and Chana (b. 1 Oct 1915), who is probably Dr. Anna Sandberg. Geni's Leon and Fanny cannot be Blima's children, and Mordka did not remarry (he died a widower in 1928), so they are probably cousins, not siblings
